Giuda, mio fedele servitore
A grande richiesta, nella foto qui a sinistra potete ammirare il feticcio portaiella in cernit realizzato dal mio fedele servitore Giuda (pardon, Valeria) con tanto di scatolina contenente cartelli intercambiabili con frasi sarcastiche tipo “Buona partita, Padrune!”. In realtà, mentre la sua creatrice ha saputo imporre in passato i suoi nefandi influssi, il feticcio pare avere effetti contrari sull’Inter.
Per chi non lo sapesse, il personaggio riprodotto è appunto Giuda, “fedele” e sarcastico servitore del protagonista di “Venerdì 12″, l’esilarante fumetto creato da Leo Ortolani.
Valeria invece è la talentuosa autrice di “Viola & Næro”.
In the photo on the left, you can see the bad luck fetish realized in cernit by my faithful servant Jude (pardon, Valeria) with also a box full of interchangeable signs with sarcastic sentences like “Good match, Master!”. To tell the truth, while its creator knows how to exert her bad influence, the fetish seems to have opposite effects on Inter football team.
For who doesn’t know, the character is Jude, “faithful” and sarcastic servant of the main character in “Friday the 12th”, hilarious comics by Leo Ortolani.
Valeria is the telented author of “Viola & Næro”.
Cross Over: Viola & Næro
Quale modo migliore per cominciare il nuovo anno di ospitare un giovane talento del fumetto italiano, ovvero Valeria Bo, disegnatrice dell’astigiano ed autrice di Viola & Næro, fumetto secondo me straordinario, che finora ha visto pubblicati solo pochissimi episodi autoprodotti, in attesa di un editore dalla vista lunga. Nel frattempo, la nostra inesauribile artista coccola i suoi amici più fidati con le sue magliette fatte a mano, che fanno a parte di un catalogo già ricchissimo di merchandising inedito.
Ecco quindi la maglietta di cui mi ha omaggiato durante la nostra festa di “noncompleadannatale” (chi la capisce la capisce), con un improbabile cross-over tra “Neko & Kuma” e “Viola & Næro”, che in comune hanno forse solo la “e” commerciale.
There was no better way to begin the new year than to house a young italian comics talent, Valeria Bo, drawer of Piedmont and author of Viola & Næro (Violet & Blæck), for me a wonderful comics, which is published only in a few self-published episodes, waiting for a farsighted publisher. In the meanwhile, our inexhaustible artist cuddles her friends with their handmade t-shirts, which are part of a rich merchandising catalogue.
Here it is the t-shirt she gave me during our “newyearunbirthdayxmas” party, with an improbable cross-over between “Neko & Kuma” and “Viola & Næro”, which are probably in common just the “&”.
