Tribute to Johnny Hart
Per la serie se ne vanno sempre i migliori. Forse a 76 anni uno la sua vita l’ha già vissuta, e comunque è un’immagine molto romantica quella di un disegnatore che muore al suo tavolo da disegno, ancora intento a realizzare le sue strisce.
Johhny Hart, l’autore di B.C. e del Mago di Wiz se n’è andato così. Tempo fa avevo scritto questo post ricordando come il mio tapiro Ludovico aveva forse inconsciamente tratto ispirazione dall’Apteryx di Johnny Hart, così come molto dell’umorismo delle mie strisce è stato forgiato dalle ore passate a leggere le sue. A casa mia ho uno scaffale pieno dei vecchi e consunti libretti di B.C. Il primo l’ho comprato al mare da piccolo su una bancarella.
Non è un anno che ricorderò volentieri questo, perché se ne stanno andando tutti i miti del mio passato; spero che comunque ci siano altri autori pronti a raccoglierne l’eredità, perché così avrebbero credo voluto anche loro.
